Note10
Bruce W. Robison
Bruce has owned an Amiga since 1986. Art and graphics were the
major factors drawing him to the superior design of the Amiga. He
uses the Amiga to prototype for silk screen prints produced by him,
and lithographic prints produced by Master Printers of Springfield,
Missouri.
The technique used in his
paintings
is described in an article in
AV VIDEO magazine (Jan. 1991). These images were created strictly by
eye, hand, and mouse. No frame grabbers, digitizers, cameras, or
scanners were used.
Bruce's work shows you what can be done with a 16 color palette in
high resolution (640 x 400).

EMPRESS
by Bruce Robison
"This is another example of
how dithering can be used to
produce an image which has an
airbrush-like quality.
This scene does not exist
anywhere but in my mind and
on the screens of Amigas.
I hope you enjoy it."

PALETTE
by Bruce Robison
An example of how,
through dithering, you
can get many apparent
colors from just 16.
